  Here' s in this file the actual (latest and un-complete) list of labels for English.
  As said, we shall have a UK English, specific for Great Britain.

  1)
  For first make sure you have Eldy 2.1.

  2)
  download the file en.txt. e.g.: in your desktop (right click and then "save as" or open in browser and save).

  3)
  edit with wordpad or notepad with your words, save.
  Better not to use WORD, it might mess up the file.

  4)
  When you feel it's ok, copy the file and paste it in your hard drive in lang/x/lang.eldy.
  say you have Eldy installed in C://Program files /eldy/ and you're working on english (en)

  copy your file en.txt in C://Program files /eldy/lang/en/ and rename it in lang.eldy

  5)
  launch Eldy in your language
  you will see changes you have made

  6)
  if you feel ok, upload the new version telling us of updates and upgrade!

  Have had a look at Thom laCosta's file (US) – seems fine. Can't find any faults but will run it here and see if any 'Americanisms' have crept in – doubt it.

  Simon, Enrico, I have been working on quite a large rewrite of the wording in Eldy to try and simplify the language.

  I've tried to eliminate "computer words" as much as possible:
  Although words like "Verification" and "authorized" are commonplace in computer applications, I think they can mostly be replaced by words that are perhaps friendlier and less clinical (read: intimidating).
  I think computer words greatly decrease the accessibility of computers to older generations, and my hope is to create an underlying "word ethic" which ensures wording in Eldy is of a style which is warmer and more engaging.

  In light of your changes Simon, I have merged my version with that of your latest.

  Thoughts please on whether this is a good approach or not!

  Other changes include some spelling mistakes, capitalisation of acronyms, and the removal of a few americanisms.
  Please see attached file "Changes.txt" for full list of changes, the file "mattsnewversion.txt" is the .lang file.

  I also have a couple of other changes for wording not available in the lang pack:

  In Mail
  Change "Mail Read" to "Old Mail"
  Change "Mail Sent" to "Sent Mail"

  In Chat
  Change "Let's get chat started!" to "Let's get Chatting!"

  **As a side note, Hulu is not available in the UK, can this be removed from Eldy TV?

  Hi Martina,

  My version was built on top of Simons, and as such incorporates all of his changes too.

  Unless Simon has an objection, I think my hybrid should be the definitive.
