    Christian, The only response I have had is from 2 users who were confused that an e-mail had been sent in their name when they hadn't sent it. I would say it was a serious problem though. David

    sounds like a great idea…along with NOT writing to the user area….thus making it truly portable….I would love to have Eldy in both Multi and Single user on a USB drive.

    You need to upload My Eldy virtual machine and to clone the disk image to a 4GB Usb key (disk image is bootable). Thus, Eldy will be pre-installed on the key, not on on the disk !
    You can download either the virtual machine (vmware .ova file) or the disk image from http://dl.free.fr/ZpVGGA/Eldy_linux_fr
    Disk image will be online to-morrows
    (caution : 1,5GB downloads – download link is available for 30 days, files are deleted when there is no download in a 30 days period). Eldy is a standard install and includes US language ; ubuntu includes only french language, but you can replace the default language and download other language packs. Don’t keep both languages on a 4GB udb key (or use a larger key).

    Eldy works with what versions of Linux? It does NOT work with Puppy Linux. Can any of the working Eldy/Linux combinations be either a Live-CD or Bootable USB that does NOT include a desktop link to install Eldy on the Hard Drive?

    Intended use os to demonstate Eldy in such a manner that it does NOT have to be installed on the system hard drive.
